Sarah Winer joins the Tulsa Accident Care team with more than ten years of experience in the nursing field. She went to nursing school at Rogers State University and upon graduation, she went right to work as a registered nurse in the emergency room. After she built a solid foundation of skills and experience, she then transferred into labor and delivery where she spent most of her nursing career. In 2018, Sarah went back to school to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. During her BSN program, she began working at a pediatric urgent care center and from there moved into utilization management nursing. Upon completion of her BSN, Sarah then went on to pursue a Master of Science in nursing and family nurse practitioner degree from Maryville University.
From the young age of three years, Sarah knew she wanted to be a nurse. She spent her childhood playing "hospital" with her sisters and was always so fascinated with healthcare. Sarah loves taking care of others and helping people feel better. With her years of experience, critical thinking, and caring nature, Sarah is a great fit at Tulsa Accident Care Center.
Sarah is native to Tulsa and has always called Tulsa her home. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She and her husband love riding motorcycles and traveling together. When she's not riding, you can find her reading a good book or nursing article.
